The Institution of Engineering and Technology has organised nine highly successful international Conferences on HF Radio Systems and Techniques at 3 yearly intervals.
The aim of IRST 2006 is to bring together academics and industrialists with interests in HF systems and any other topic related to long-range terrestrial radio and sensing systems.
The next international conference in this series, on Ionospheric Radio Systems and Techniques will take place at the Royal Society of Medicine, London from 18 – 21 July 2006.
The conference will place an emphasis on HF systems, but will also be open to those with an interest in the effects of the ionosphere on other radio systems, such as GPS and space-based radars.
