Final contributions should be submitted via email by Friday, 27 April 2007. Failure to comply with this date will result in the paper not being published in the Automotive Electronic 2007 Conference Digest.

Each contribution must have at least one author registered by Friday, 11 May 2007, to avoid the contribution being withdrawn from the conference digest. You are reminded that the Institution or other associated societies cannot meet any travelling or subsistence expenses for authors, either prior to or during the conference.

Preparation of your Presentation / Paper

The 2007 Automotive Conference Organising Committee will be accepting both PowerPoint presentations and Papers for final submission. Please find below guidelines on the preparation of both PowerPoint Presentations and Full Papers. It is vital that you stick to these guidelines.

Use of the Automotive Electronics 2007 template is mandatory, and only contributions following the instructions provided below will be considered.

Copyright

Each paper/presentation must be submitted with a completed copyright form, assigning copyright to the Institution of Engineering and Technology. This enables the Institution to publish the paper in the Proceedings.

Presentation Guidelines

If you have submitted a full paper for inclusion in the proceedings we also ask that each presenting author should submit a final PowerPoint presentation for use at the event by Thursday, 21 June 2007 to eventsa1@theiet.org. These will be loaded onto the Lecture Theatre computer prior to the relevant session. Delegates should bring a copy of their slides on CD/Memory Stick with them to the Conference as a back up.

Authors are asked to check the programme carefully and arrive at the appropriate Lecture Theatre 10 minutes in advance of the session they are speaking in. This is to meet the Chairman of the session, the technician, check through the presentation slides and make contact with the organiser.
