*All Submissions should be emailed to ie2006@cti.gr. Τhe email subject line must begin with the title of submission category enclosed in square brackets, i.e. [WORKSHOP], followed by the subject text (no rules for this)

The International Programme Committee invites authors to submit original papers that fall into one of the following categories:

• Original and unpublished research work in the involved disciplines. Multidisciplinary research results are particularly welcome
• Papers reporting on innovative concepts, models and applications related to IE and the involved disciplines
• Papers reporting on successful technology transfer to new problem domains
• Papers reporting on industrial experience and demos of IE

All papers should represent original and previously unpublished work that currently is not under review in any conference or journal. Both basic and applied research papers are welcome.

The paper should not be more than 10 pages long and has to follow strictly The Iinstitution of Engineering and Technology's guidelines which are available at http://www.iee.org/Events/ConfExh/layout.pdf
Electronic submission in Microsoft Word format is required. Hardcopy and fax submissions will not be accepted.

All submitted papers must include a separate first page with the title of the paper and the author's(s') name(s) and address(es).

The accepted papers will appear in the Conference Proceedings which will published by The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
