Marc A. Weiss - Telecom Sync and GPS expert, U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Dr. Weiss has contributed both to developing and using GPS since 1980, while working for NIST, the U.S. national time and frequency standards laboratory. He developed the NIST-ATIS Workshop on Synchronization in Telecommunications Systems in 1992, and has organized it annually since then.
